Amalgamated Transit Union Local 168 Holds Hazzard Pay Rally
Since mid-April, Local 168 has demanded that leaders of the County of Lackawanna Transit System (COLTS) negotiate over proper PPE, air filtration, passenger safety and hazard pay. Representing COLTS workers, the Amalgamated Transit Union Local 168 in Scranton, PA, held a rally outside of the Lackawanna County Government Offices on Friday, October 2, 2020.
“Our members have been and will continue to put their lives and the lives of their families on the line every day,” said Local 168 President Dave Kaczmarek. “We will not be held hostage by this virus or a corrupt lawyer, our hard-won union contract is not for sale.”
