HARRISBURG, PA (April 10, 2023) — On behalf of 700,000 working men and women in Pennsylvania, represented by 51 International Unions and 1,422 Locals, the Pennsylvania AFL-CIO Executive Council endorsed four candidates in the Pennsylvania 2023 Primary Election and one candidate in the HD-163 special election.
“Our elected officials are the voice of the people, and these candidates have clearly shown their commitment to advocate for and lift working families up to ensure they are never left behind,” said Angela Ferritto, President, PA AFL-CIO. “The Pennsylvania AFL-CIO is proud to stand behind these candidates who will fight for the issues our members care about to create an inclusive economy and better life for all Pennsylvanians.”
