With the start of petitions, Seven Mountains Central Labor Council is beginning our endorsement process for the 2023 election cycle.

This cycle, we are considering endorsements for the following offices in Centre, Huntingdon, Mifflin, and Juniata counties:

You may have heard of “union bugs” or “union labels.” They can be found on packaging for a wide range of American-made, union produced commercial goods, from breakfast cereals to baked goods and beers, glassware to cookware, and cars to home appliances.

Workers from coast to coast are standing together for better wages, working conditions, benefits and more. The number of people involved in major work stoppages last year increased nearly 50%. This year, we’re on track to break that record.
